East Coast Bullbars have been the original manufacturer of Alloy Bullbars in Australia since 1971. Credited as being the first Bullbar Manufacturer in Australia, ECB has built a reputation as Australia’s leading Frontal Protection experts. More than 50 years later ECB is still proudly 100% Made in Australia, whereas most other Bullbar manufacturers have gone offshore to factories in China or Thailand to manufacture their frontal protection products. Manufacturing in Australia enables us to have complete control of quality, enable ECB to be first to market, and react rapidly to model changes, safety upgrades, or ANCAP requirements.
With an in-house Research & Development department being able to cater for over 3 new vehicles per month, we expect to see around 40 new vehicles roll through our business yearly. ECB is a highly respected Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturer with our knowledge and expertise that just can’t be equaled. Still located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, North of Brisbane, ECB employs over 90 people across the 14,000 square metre facility that is home to 20 welding bays, a fully functioning polishing facility, a powder coating plant, four separate warehouses, 3 x CNC Plasma Cutters, 2 x CNC Routers, a state-of-the-art Mandrel pipe bender, and countless other machinery. Our continual reinvestment back into the business and the Automotive Aftermarket Manufacturing industry with our cutting-edge manufacturing and facilities have positioned ECB as a key player in a very competitive market competing with products imported from abroad.

Every mount is custom designed and manufactured to suit each vehicle. These mounts are created from 8mm plasma cut steel, providing a perfect fit to your vehicle for the strength needed to provide a solid construction for a lifetime of trouble free motoring...in any environment.

ECB will NEVER compromise the quality of materials we use or the design of our products. All ECB Bullbars feature a 6 mm thick full one-piece centre channel section that is plasma cut and then folded into the correct shape forming the ultimate in strength for the most important part of the Bullbar.

Bullbars are most vulnerable right out on the wings; therefore, East Coast Bullbars feature an industry leading wall tube thickness with fully gusseted shoulder pipes. Every single gusset has a purpose and the gussets on the shoulder pipes reinforce the one-piece channel contributing to overall better protection and prevent the tubes from bending backwards in the event of a strike.
